Dry Skin After Yeast Infection
If you have a yeast infection and you have tried everything including Monistat or even Diflucan, and still can’t get rid of it, then you need to try some natural remedies. Many times people with chronic yeast infections do not respond well to typical treatments for yeast. Below is some information to help you learn how to get rid of a yeast infection.
Yeast infections occur when the Candida albicans fungus that is normally present in the vagina grows to the point that symptoms appear. Normally the fungus is kept under control by various harmless bacteria that are also present. While not dangerous, yeast infections are annoying because of the cheesy discharge, the pain, the frequent urination and, most of all, the stinging and burning sensation.

One way to start curing your yeast infection is to strengthen your immune system. You can start that by: getting exercise, getting plenty of rest, taking vitamins, and following a healthy diet. You will want to eliminate white flour, sugar, artificial sweeteners, alcohol and dairy products. There is, however, one exception to the dairy product rule which is to eat plenty of yogurt containing acidophilus. Eating yogurt will be your first step to starting a healthy diet and a holistic approach.
Another natural cure for yeast infection is tea tree oil. Women have testified that applying the essential oil to the affected area has worked. There has been no official study of the substance and therefore no evidence to guarantee that it works. But, people have been cautioned never to use the oil without diluting it first. It is a complex compound and until there is proof that it is safe, you cannot use it in its natural form. Other cures are honey and vinegar.
These will not only be easier for you to implement, but they will be cheap and safe. Some of them involve using sugar free yogurt, garlic, buttermilk, grapefruit seed extract, and vitamin B6 to help combat the yeast. Then there are those solutions which have you totally change your diet to foods which don’t promote yeast growth. These solutions can be just as potent as their over the counter counterparts.
The yeast is natural in the gastrointestinal tract. There are certain conditions such as sugar, poor diet, stress, and antibiotics that will cause this to overgrow. Sugar is the main cause of the fungal yeast infection. Once this starts to overgrow, it will spread into your bloodstream creating increased damage to your well-being.

Plain Yogurt – It is all about the acidophilus. The ‘good bacteria’ helps take care of the candida that builds up and causes the yeast problem. For vaginal yeast infections, a tampon dipped in yogurt and carefully inserted can be very helpful.
Getting rid of your yeast problem does not require that you spend lots of money going about it. They are easily cured with natural methods with virtually no side effects. Yeast infections can make you physically feel bad and mentally depressed. This is mostly caused from a chronic build up of yeast in the body.
